Emergency Blocked Drains Bundaberg

Sewage backing up? Toilet overflowing? Call [PHONE] now.

Some blocked drains can wait until Monday. These can’t:

  • Sewage coming up through the shower, bath or floor waste
  • An overflowing toilet, or no working toilet in the house
  • Wastewater overflowing from the gully trap in the yard
  • Water entering the house during a storm because the stormwater is blocked
  • A business that can’t trade because its drains are down

Raw sewage is a genuine health hazard, and water damage gets worse by the hour. Our Bundaberg drainers treat these jobs as a priority.

Availability: [HOURS, e.g. “7 days, including after hours”]

What to Do While You Wait

  1. Stop using water. Don’t flush, shower or run the dishwasher or washing machine. Every litre adds to the overflow.
  2. Check the gully trap. This is the grated pipe outside, usually near the laundry or kitchen. If it’s overflowing, the blockage is in the main sewer line.
  3. Keep kids and pets away from any sewage.
  4. Don’t use chemical drain cleaners on a full blockage. They rarely clear it and can harm you and the drainer.
  5. Take photos if water has damaged anything. They help with insurance.

Emergency Drain FAQs

Does emergency call-out cost more? After-hours work usually costs more than a standard booking. You’ll be told the call-out rate when you phone, before anyone is sent.

Is it my responsibility or the council’s? Generally, the pipes on your property are the owner’s responsibility, and the council looks after the main sewer in the street. If you’re unsure, we can locate the blockage and tell you which side it’s on.

Will my insurance cover it? Some home insurance policies cover the resulting damage, but not the blockage itself. Check your policy, and keep photos and the invoice.
